While there are many ways for you to get answers
to your health care questions, the dilemma is how to
get OBJECTIVE answers. Three main sources will serve you
well:
1)The internet. You will find a plethora of information,
but keep your antennae up and don’t depend on any ONE source. A good
combination of sites for a balanced look would include the insurer’s
site, your state insurance commission site and the site of a
broker.
2)Your employer. Make a list of questions and be
sure and present them to your employer. If there is an informational
meeting about the new or revised plan be sure to attend. Hear
the problems, concerns and advice of fellow employees, as well as
the experts.
3)Health care providers. Here’s a chance to
get the inside story. Be sure to see what your GP or other health
care providers think about the plan or plans your considering. They
see it in action every day.
